Nathan and Savanah met the very modern way: on Bumble. Their beginning, however, was not exactly a fairytale of immediate communication. Shortly after matching, Savanah ghosted Nathan for about a month. When she finally reached back out, Nathan decided to return the favor and ghost her right back for another three months.During that time, Savanah even ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone. You might think that would earn at least a response, but Nathan held strong and still didn’t message back. Finally, on March 17th, Nathan broke the silence and replied, though he still wasn’t entirely convinced Savanah had actually been hospitalized.About a week later, they went on their first date. What was supposed to be a quick one hour dinner quickly turned into a four hour conversation that neither of them wanted to end. Savanah overshared plenty of stories and probably a few unnecessary details, while Nathan gladly listened. Somewhere in those four hours it became clear that this was the start of something special.Since then, Nathan and Savanah have been best friends. Their relationship is built on constant laughter, honest conversations, and the kind of vulnerability that makes a partnership strong. They share a love for traveling, finding great food, and spending time with the people they care about most.Over time their lives blended together in the best way possible. Their families have become one, and they feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by friends and loved ones who have supported them and helped their relationship grow.Looking back, it is funny that a story that started with ghosting, delayed replies, and a little bit of skepticism led them here. Sometimes the best things take a little time to get going. And now they cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter together.

We’re so excited that our dear friend Louis will be officiating our ceremony. Louis is full of humor, heart, and the ability to handle a crowd like a pro. We both love him so much that we couldn’t decide which side he should stand on, so the only place that made sense was right in the middle, marrying us.

Standing on the bride’s side as Man of Honor is Caden. After nearly 15 years of friendship, he’s been her soulmate, voice of reason, and partner in crime through every chapter of life. She couldn’t imagine this day without him right by her side.

Standing on the groom’s side as Best Woman is Kayla, his best friend of 10 years. They met at the University of Connecticut, and since then she’s been his voice of insanity, the kindest soul, and one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. Even all the way from California, Kayla always shows up and shows out.

Standing beside the bride as a bridesmaid is Courtney. As one of the funniest and most dependable people you could have in your corner, her friendship means so much to the bride. She is incredibly grateful for their bond and looks forward to many more hilarious memories together.

Standing beside the groom as a groomsman is John, his confidant and soon-to-be brother-in-law. The two bond over plenty of nerdy conversations and are always ready for a competitive game of pickleball. The groom is lucky to call him both family and a great friend.

If a guest arrives in attire that does not meet the formal dress code, they may be asked to step out and change before rejoining the festivities.We’ve invested greatly in our photographer and the overall look of the evening, and we want the photos and memories from this night to reflect the cohesive, elegant celebration we’ve planned.Thank you for helping us bring the vision to life and for celebrating with us in style. We promise it will be worth it.We are celebrating in true Southern style with a moody, romantic atmosphere and a little New Orleans bayou flair. Think moody romance, candlelight, rich colors, jazz in the air, and a night meant for celebrating loudly and joyfully.Our dress code is formal, and we ask our guests to lean all the way into it. We want everyone to look incredible and feel confident.For the gentlemen:A suit is required, and tuxedos are absolutely welcome if you’d like to elevate the look. Think classic, sharp, and polished.For the ladies:We encourage formal dresses or gowns that fit the spirit of the evening. This is the night to bring out something beautiful, dramatic, colorful, or elegant.To help keep the look of the evening cohesive, jeans, casual tops, and blouses will not be permitted. We’re aiming for a fully dressed-up celebration, no in-between.Our theme leans toward old southern elegance with a bold New Orleans twist, a little dark, a little moody, with vibrant pops of color. Think jewel tones, velvet, satin, sparkle, florals, feathers, or anything that feels festive and full of life. If you’d wear it to a candlelit party in the French Quarter, you’re on the right track.Most importantly, we want you to feel amazing. Dress boldly, feel confident, and don’t be afraid to steal a little attention.One final rule:Please leave white for the bride.
